Conservatives Say Stupid Is As Stupid Does

"Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak." -- Alan Dundes.

The saying applies most especially to Conservative politicians and their Sheeplets, and nowhere is this more apparent than the "debate" about global climate change, especially when they close their minds to any factual proof regarding man-made global climate change...could it be because their biggest donors are industrialists and defense contractors who need their gluttonous daily doses of oil?

"One of America's Dumbest Scientific Debates, Summed Up in a Single Comic."

"This has become absurd. Out of 9,136 geologists, chemists, physicists and biologists, exactly 9,135 agree that global warming is real and is rooted in human factors. Yet, the number of Americans who deny climate change is not only substantial, but increasing.

"Worse still, while three out of four of the theories above were denied for decades before being "proven," a single rejection of these core arguments is likely to result in the reduction of our Earthly landscape to a pollution-filled, disease ridden hellscape. You guessed it: climate change..."

The world is full of Conservative dunderheads and the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words," describes the rest of this screed.

And they're off!

And it's not just climate change that is too much for their intellectually challenged "brains..."

And when Michelle Bachmann is unavailable, there's always Sister Sarah!

And you can hear those words of wisdom and watch her for a nominal fee...

We can sum up the problem in just two short paragraphs...

This is what happens when a thinking person is also a news junkie, and before any Sheeplets yell, "If you don't like it here why don't you leave?," let's acknowledge that we aren't fact, we're not even close.

If you like your pay, think the poor and the homeless are shiftless, love pre-emptive warfare, want to live with WASPs only, believe that Republicans want balanced budgets, and think Rush Limbaugh is the voice of the People, you ought to consider a one-way ticket to another country yourself.

Unless you'd rather stick around to watch as Conservatism is criminalized, and then realize that you'll have to rely on Mitt Romney's plan for self-deportation.
