Conservatism's Criminal Cartel: The GOP

"Both of our political parties, at least the honest portion of them, agree conscientiously in the same object: the public good; but they differ essentially in what they deem the means of promoting that good. One side believes it best done by one composition of the governing powers, the other by a different one. One fears most the ignorance of the people; the other the selfishness of rulers independent of them. Which is right, time and experience will prove. We think that one side of this experiment has been long enough tried and proved not to promote the good of the many, and that the other has not been fairly and sufficiently tried. Our opponents think the reverse. With whichever opinion the body of the nation concurs, that must prevail." --Thomas Jefferson to Abigail Adams, 1804.

Unfortunately, time and experience have proven Jefferson wrong and it's high time that we criminalize the enemy of the People: Conservatism.

What kinds of criminal behavior emanate from the Cons? There's the minor matter of our impending extinction for one, and you know what the politics of the oil industry are...

"Oil Industry Denies Climate Change But Demands Taxpayer Money For Climate Change Protection."

"Indemnity is security or protection against a loss or other financial burden, and for the American oil industry, taxpayers hand over large amounts of cash to protect oil company profits while eliminating any potential losses; typically through taxpayer-funded subsidies. Interestingly, proponents of funding already profitable oil companies are also avid supporters of free market capitalism where a business either lives or dies of its own accord, but like most things Republicans support, it is only applicable when it fits their agenda.

"There were a few news reports over the past two weeks that reveal the depth of the entitlement mindset permeating the oil industry as well as their expectation that the government will force taxpayers pay for their malfeasance that Republicans are only too happy to oblige. Sadly, many Americans have bought into the Republican absurdity that it is unpatriotic to hold the oil industry to the same standards as every other American, and the industry is well aware that any demand they make, regardless how obscene, will be granted by Republicans with likely support from voters..."

Here is the GOP, the place where Conservatives party and play...

The modern Conservative crime cartel started with Tricky Dick, the capo di tutti capi...

"40 Years Ago, Resigned to History."

"YORBA LINDA, Calif. (AP) — Almost a decade after Richard Nixon resigned, the disgraced former president sat down with his one-time aide and told the tale of his fall from grace in his own words.

"For three decades, that version of one of the nation's largest and most-dissected political scandals largely gathered dust — until this week.

"Starting Tuesday, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Nixon's resignation, portions of the tapes will be published each day by the Nixon Presidential Library & Museum and the private Richard Nixon Foundation. The postings begin with Nixon recalling the day he decided to resign and end Saturday — the date of his last day in office — with the 37th president discussing his final day at the White House, when he signed the resignation agreement, gave a short speech and boarded a helicopter for San Clemente, California.

"The segments were culled from more than 30 hours of interviews that Nixon did with former aide Frank Gannon in 1983. The sections on Watergate aired publicly once, on CBS News, before gathering dust at the University of Georgia for more than 30 years.

"'This is as close to what anybody is going to experience sitting down and having a beer with Nixon, sitting down with him in his living room,' said Gannon, now a writer and historian in Washington, D.C..."

As the Conservatives succeed in their War Against The People, their patrons in their mansions keep pumping the campaign money pumps...but they better watch out for angry voters!

"As the Rich Get Richer, 75 Percent of the Nation Expects Stagnant or Lower Incomes."

"Despite reassurances from the White House about the economy picking up, a recent survey by the Federal Reserve reveals a far bleaker perception among US wage earners.

"According to Reuters, a Federal Reserve study released on August 7 found most of the 99% pessimistic about their personal income status and economic condition:

"In its first large-scale study of household finances, the U.S. central bank uncovered lingering effects of the sharpest economic downturn since the Great Depression, with 42 percent of respondents saying they had delayed major purchases and 18 percent saying they put off a major life decision, including buying a home or getting married, due to the crisis.

"Thirty-six percent said they now planned to retire later, according to the online survey.

"In a finding that could figure into the Fed's monetary policy debate, three-fourths of households said they expected their incomes to be the same or lower over the next year..."

In one of the Conservatives' model States we see even more records being broken in the ongoing Conservative War Against The People...

And now that they're arming themselves (courtesy of the NRA), watch out if you're not an old white man...

Because not just content with arming their followers, the typical Conservative haters are arming themselves -- just in case...

"Former GOP Candidate Goes Ballistic; Shoots Man, Kills Horse (Video)."

Mr. Camp arrives at FCSO
"Tye 'Glenn' Champ, who campaigned for governor of California earlier this year has previously served a prison term for manslaughter, has several convictions for weapons offenses and is a registered sex offender.
And as of 10:30 am Friday, he may be adding 'shooting death of a horse' and 'attempted murder of a neighbor' to that impressive resume.

"According to the Frenso Bee, Champ claimed to have “found the Lord” during his stint in prison, which did little for him personally, as Thursday afternoon a “neighbor dispute” over work done on a road ended in the shooting..."

Finally, here is the key to understanding Conservatism's success at the polls since FDR: They lie -- they lie because they have to lie...

So we know that Conservatism is just a convenient name we give to those who are eliminating all democratic institutions by criminal means, we know that those means cause death and misery for the People, and we know that they are relentless in their drive to create a New American Feudal Age...but what can we do about it?

We can wait for a progressive Messiah, we can wait for a political movement  to stop the depredations of the cons and their minions in our courts and legislatures, and we can wait for the Low Information Voter to wake up...

...or we can criminalize the criminal cartel hiding behind the name, "Conservatism."

"Deregulation is a transfer of power from the trodden to the treading. It is
unsurprising that all conservative parties claim to hate big government."

George Monbiot.
