God, Guns, And Gays: The Perpetual Conservative Platform

The Perpetual Conservative Platform: God, Guns, And Gays...first, about guns:

"The States With The Most Gun Violence: 24/7 Wall St."

As mass shootings continue to appear in the news, many Americans and state leaders are asking how to address the problem without restricting constitutional rights.

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tracks the number of gun-related fatalities — including homicides, suicides, and accidents — in each state. The frequency of firearm-related deaths varies widely across the U.S. Firearms were associated with just 3.0 deaths per 100,000 residents in Rhode Island in 2011, the lowest gun-related fatality rate of any state. Louisiana, on the other hand, reported 18.8 firearm-related deaths per 100,000 residents, the most of any state. 24/7 Wall St. examined the 10 states with the highest gun-related death rates..."

Maybe a few rounds of birdshot in the buttocks would make them's a tempting target.

"Watch: Brazen Teenagers Terrorize Residents with Assault Rifles."

"A shocking video was recently released showing three teenagers walking around a suburban Ohio neighborhood with high-powered assault weapons. The teens could be heard shouting racial slurs in the video, and bragging about legally parading their AR-15′s — the same rifle used in the Aurora, Colorado shooting — through the streets of East Price Hill..."

“Open carry in the state of Ohio, the cops can’t do nothing,” said the young man on camera.

Then there's God...

"The Owners of Hobby Lobby Envision A Christian Taliban America — And They’re Spending A Fortune to Make It Happen."

"As we await the Supreme Court’s ruling on Selebius v. Hobby Lobby in the next week or so, the U.S. in a precarious situation. If the fundamentalist cancer destroying our society prevails, and Hobby Lobby wins, that terrible precedent would gradually take us down the road to an American Taliban, but with Duck Dynasty Bibles instead of Qurans.

"The Hobby Lobby case has thrust the Greens, the founders and owners of the good, Christian company, into the national spotlight. The family’s mission, however, looms far larger than this single case. The Greens are spending hundreds of millions to teach the United States to trust and respect a book written about a churlish, vindictive god, and containing morality tales, barbaric laws, and erotic poetry from the Bronze age. The most well-known of the projects the Greens bestow their millions upon is the Bible curriculum they’re piloting in public schools next year..."

And here...

And in the Conservative panapoly...

Speaking of "Gays," some support gay rights...

"Joe Biden: U.S. backs gay rights."

"'I don’t care what your culture is,' Biden told about 100 guests at the Naval Observatory’s vice presidential mansion. 'Inhumanity is inhumanity is inhumanity. Prejudice is prejudice is prejudice.'

"With anti-gay laws taking root in nearly 80 countries, Biden and other top White House officials met with religious, human rights and HIV health care advocates in a forum dedicated to promoting gay rights internationally..."

And some don't...

"Gays Preparing To Slaughter Christians In Homosexual Holocaust According To Tony Perkins (AUDIO)."

Tony Perkins Says Liberals Want A Religion Based Government
Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, now claims that the gay agenda involves throwing Christians into ‘re-education camps.’ Image: Gage Skidmore @ Flickr
"Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, asked the attorney Nicole Martin of Alliance Defending Freedom on his show, Washington Watch With Tony Perkins. Martin had recently represented Jack Phillips, owner of the Masterpiece Cakeshop in Denver Colorado. Judges on the Colorado Human Rights Council recently unanimously ruled against Phillips in a claim that Phillips had violated a gay couple’s civil rights when he refused to bake them a wedding cake.

"The discussion on the show about the council decision quickly escalated beyond the usual hateful bigoted remarks usually associated with anything to do with Tony Perkins or the Family research Council and jumped right into Holocaust territory so fast it would make Godwin gasp. Somehow in Perkins’ mind not only is there a gay agenda, there is also a gay final solution that involves Christians being exterminated in concentration camps..."

This is the answer...

As we leave the mantra "God, Guns, and Gays," we doubt if they can keep it up.  Slowly but surely more and more voters are beginning to understand the lies spewing from the mouths of Conservatives and are rejecting them.

And there's that problem with demographics.

Of course things would move faster if we criminalize Conservatism as soon as possible.

The Golden Rule: Those With The Gold Make The Rules

Who started Class Warfare anyway? Conservatives are not the working man's friend, and all the social Conservatives in the world can't rebut it.  Just as an example, this story explains what Conservatives really want:

"Republicans Want Wealthy Parents to Get a Child Tax Credit, While Making Devastating Cuts to Poor Families (Video)."

"House Republicans have cemented their position as cronies of the wealthy with yet another new bill. They’re working on expanding the Child Tax Credit to wealthier families, despite the fact that wealthier families can generally afford the children they’ve got.

"In fact, the House Ways and Means Committee has passed a bill doing just that, according to MSNBC. To be sure, it does expand some existing credits and tax breaks for the poorer families, but MSNBC reports that it lets others disappear — which would hurt them more than these expansion will help them..."

Guess who's preparing to sell you all the water you can afford to drink...and you say there's no vast rightwing criminal conspiracy?

"Meet the Awful Republican Who Doesn’t Think You Have the Right to Drink Safe, Clean Water."

"Wyoming Senator John Barrasso continues his fight against a clean environment and decent planetary stewardship by urging his colleges to block an EPA proposal that would redefine several forms of surface water under the 1972 Clean Water Act.

"The EPA has extended the time available for the general public to comment on the ruling until October 20, and the agency says that while the regulation isn’t protecting new waters, it will instead clarify waters are already protected under the law.

"Barrasso, however, sees another example of federal overreach. he believes that it threatens local land use and zoning. He told the Wyoming Star-Tribune that:
“Federal regulations have never defined ditches and other upland drainage features as ‘waters of the U.S. But this proposed rule does, and it will have a huge impact on farmers, on ranchers, on small businesses that need to put a shovel in the ground to make a living.”

What else would the People do with the money Conservatives are stealing from us?  Oh, yeah...

But Conservatives tell us that poor people are lazy, stupid, and crooked...

It's way past time to redistribute the wealth, either by increasing the taxes paid by the rich back to where they should be -- plus more for the interest lost by the 99 percent -- or by asset confiscation. Or both.

The path towards the death of the middle class was blazed by Reagan and continues to this day, yet the Low Information Voter doesn't have a clue as to why he can't keep his head above water.

The only way to be sure that the Conservatives don't continue their relentless quest towards the subjugation of the Middle Class and the Poor is to criminalize Conservatism.

Conservatives' Strategy: Distract The Rest of Us

In a famous scene in a Marx Brothers movie, Groucho tells Chico, "It is my belief that the missing picture is hidden in the house next door."  Chico thinks of something as different from that fact as he possibly can, saying, "There isn't any house next door."

Then Groucho uses that strategy to illustrate his deviance from the truth when he retorts, "Then we'll build one!"

Conservative rhetoric is a primitive one and interferes with our thought processes every day, and we know how Conservative really think...

So keep your eye on what the man behind the curtain is doing...

"Senator Bernie Sanders Exposes the Terrifying Truth Behind What the Koch Brothers Want For Our Country."

"I like asking Republicans I talk with if they know who the Koch brothers are. I do this because, shockingly enough, the overwhelming majority of them have never even heard of the multibillionaires. It’s also interesting considering the Koch brothers – and their vast fortunes – are the driving forces behind much of what the Republican party has been supporting for the last several years.

"Many conservatives blindly support almost anything the GOP tells them to support without an inkling of an idea about the real force that’s almost singlehandedly buying their entire party.

"Well, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders dug up an old campaign platform of the Libertarian party from 1980 when it just so happens that David Koch was running for Vice President on the Libertarian ticket.
"Just take a look at what the party – and David Koch – was pushing for in 1980:
  • "We urge the repeal of federal campaign finance laws, and the immediate abolition of the despotic Federal Election Commission."
  • "We favor the abolition of Medicare and Medicaid programs."
  • "We oppose any compulsory insurance or tax-supported plan to provide health services, including those which finance abortion services."
  • "We also favor the deregulation of the medical insurance industry..."
Are you still keeping your eyes on the man behind the curtain?  Watch carefully...

"The Real Way Republicans Plan to Rig Elections and Disenfranchise Voters."

Image via

"The last several years these new voter ID laws have often made headlines.  Most notably because they tend to target voters that tend to vote for Democrats.  And since the Supreme Court overturned parts of the Voting Rights Act, Republican controlled states have wasted no time passing new laws that seek to rig elections to favor Republican candidates. And spare me this nonsense about 'voter fraud.'  It hardly exists.

"In the extremely rare cases that it does, it seems that Republican voters are often the ones busted for it. But these moves to require a government issued ID before someone is allowed to vote are just smokescreens Republicans are using to try to prevent certain voters that don’t often vote for them from being able to vote at all. Because while Republicans can’t specifically target voters who tend to vote for Democrats, they can make it more difficult to obtain an ID..."

So keep an eye on the Conservative hypocrisy...

Because even though we feel safe...

We're not.

So while the man behind the green curtain keeps you occupied with gay marriage, states' rights, open carry gun "rights," and abortion, this is what they're really all about...

Still keeping your eyes open and mind focused?  Then you better vote and make sure your friends and relatives vote -- and vote for the straight Democratic ticket.

The Low Information Voter: Democracy Killer

The Low Information Voter has been responsible for the election of Conservative criminals, yet doesn't understand how his vote changed the country for the worse.

"Some low-information voters' views are more moderate than those of high-information voters, they are less likely to vote, and are looking for a candidate they find personally appealing. They tend to be swing voters, and they tend to vote split-ticket more than well-informed voters do, researchers say because they lack a coherent ideology.

"Linguist George Lakoff has written that the term is a pejorative mainly used by American liberals to refer to people who vote conservative against their own interests, and assumes they do it because they lack sufficient information. Liberals, he said, attribute the problem in part to deliberate Republican efforts at misinforming voters..."

They don't even know which political party runs Congress...

"Nationwide, just 40% of Americans can correctly identify the partisan balance in both the House of Representatives and the Senate (that Republicans have the majority in the former, and Democrats in the latter). The remaining six-in-ten know only one (33%) or neither (28%) of those facts."

Who Controls the Senate and House?

And it makes them "uncomfortable" to talk about politics...

Most Faith and Family Left Uncomfortable When People Argue About Politics

So do you still want to institute mandatory voting?

Here are the Conservative activists, the cream of the crop, and you vote right along with them -- these guys...

And these guys...

Here's who they really are -- doesn't it scare you just a little bit?

If you're a working man or woman, here's what you voted for...

And if you're a really stupid Low Information Voter, you don't do your homework, and you vote against your own best interests by voting the Libertarian ticket:

"What would actually happen if Tea Partiers controlled Congress and Rand Paul was president?"

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) speaks at the Conservative Political Action conference (CPAC), on February 2011 in Washington, DC.

"What exactly does the Tea Party movement want? Other than bringing three-cornered hats, powdered wigs, and knee breeches back in style, that is.

"If every Republican squish in Congress were booted out of office and replaced by a doughty defender of our constitutional freedoms, what kind of laws would this purer, more authentically conservative GOP pass, and which government programs would it dismantle? If FDR gave us the New Deal and LBJ gave us the Great Society, how would President Rand Paul or President Ted Cruz seek to transform American life?"

And this is how they fool you -- even the dumbest among them pulls the wool over your heads each and every day...

If you're voting for the first time or even studying what Conservatism is really all about, remember:  They're criminals, not spokesmen for the working man or woman, they are interested in one thing only -- the money.  And here's how that's translated in real life terms:

This post will be filed under "Low Information Voters," a subsection of the truism, Conservatives Are Stupid.  The "Reagan Democrats" and those who voted for other Republican/Conservative extremists would have changed the course of history if they had only done their homework.

Sure Conservatives lie when they campaign, but it doesn't take a professional researcher to discover what Conservatives and their radical ilk in the GOP really want: a victory against the middle class and the poor ----- and a New American Age of Feudalism.
