Goebbels, Limbaugh, And Ailes

The right-wing polarization of America began, elevated, and became a pervasive part of our polity through the efforts of two of the most brightest of Conservative propagandists the country has ever seen, Roger Ailes and Rush Limbaugh, the former via cable television and the latter through subscription radio.

Capitalizing on the Authoritarian Personality and the fear, hate, and religious superstitions of the intellectually challenged, Limbaugh and Ailes legitimized the underlying radicalism of the beliefs set out by the GOP leadership by redefining Conservatism, escalating their rhetoric until we see the acceptance of radical Conservatism today. Conservative extremism or right-wing radicalism, is then in fact, just Plain Vanilla Conservatism.

As pablum for the sheeplets that weaned them from the demands of critical thinking, the message sent out over the air waves by Limbaugh and Ailes's minions at Fox "news" are in the form of daily talking points and marching orders.

Few of those reading this have been spared the rhetoric from the Conservative leadership, propagandists, or Sheeplets, and regular readers of this site know that as Jefferson repeatedly noted:

"Men by their constitutions are naturally divided into two parties: 1. Those who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all powers from them into the hands of the higher classes. 2. Those who identify themselves with the people, have confidence in them, cherish and consider them as the most honest and safe, although not the most wise depositary of the public interests. In every country these two parties exist, and in every one where they are free to think, speak, and write, they will declare themselves. Call them, therefore, Liberals and Serviles, Jacobins and Ultras, Whigs and Tories, Republicans and Federalists, Aristocrats and Democrats, or by whatever name you please, they are the same parties still and pursue the same object. The last one of Aristocrats and Democrats is the true one expressing the essence of all." --Thomas Jefferson to Henry Lee, 1824.
But the general populace differentiates Liberals and Conservatives by issues, not the actual core difference between the two (, a fantasy land that hypnotizes the Low Information Voter ( believe that "both parties are the same."

As a result of the admissions of wealthy vulture capitalist Mitt Romney and the Tea Party candidates during the 2012 Election, Conservatives have been exposed for the radicals that they really are for the first time since the 1800 Presidential Election, when Adams and Hamilton admitted - nay, shouted to the rooftops, their belief in Rule By The Rich.
"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That's an entitlement. The government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. And I mean the president starts off with 48, 49...he starts off with a huge number. These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. So he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. ... My job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5–10% in the center that are independents, that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or the other depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not."
Mitt Romney at the private fundraiser of May 17, 2012[197][198][199]
The leadership has lied and obfuscated their aims after Adams' defeat until last year, when over-confidence prompted them to tell the truth about their beliefs in one of the most audacious acts of hubris since the Munich beer halls in the 30s.

The GOP's problem was the howling success of Ailes' and Limbaugh's propaganda efforts, efforts that resulted in the takeover of the GOP asylum by the Tea Party inmates.  The Frankenstein monsters of social, paleo- and neocon Conservatives had turned on their masters, necessitating the makeover of the GOP for upcoming elections as the leadership tries to "make nice" with Latinos and women with hilarious results.

We now know the truth, that there's no such thing as "Compassionate conservatism," that all conservatives are radicals that will kill, lie, and steal to grab control of the government: they don't hate government, like any Muslim terrorist, they hate democratic government.

We see now that Wikipedia's definitions of Far Right Politics and the Radical Right are outmoded, as Conservatism and "extreme" conservatism are one and the same:

While some have fantasized that an early assassination of Hitler and Goebbels might have saved 17 million lives, fewer have speculated how many lives would have been saved, how much misery would have been spared, and how much money the country would have been kept in the pockets of the middle class with the early demise of Limbaugh and Ailes.

After decades of daily indoctrination of the Sheeplets, the corporate media essentially blocked responses from the Left with the revocation of the Fairness Doctrine, still a dead horse today.  While revival of a Fairness Doctrine and  Campaign Finance Reform would help reverse the tide of Conservative propaganda, criminalization of Conservatism is the best and Final Solution.
